The Grand Finale: Our Flying Spaghetti Monster Stained Glass Commission Complete!

Welcome to the final installment of our Pastafarian commission journey on Behind the Glass! After weeks of dedicated craftsmanship, countless hours of meticulous work, and passionate attention to detail, we're thrilled to present the completed Flying Spaghetti Monster stained glass panel in all its divine glory!

A Labor of Noodly Love

Behold the finished masterpiece! Not counting the initial design phase, this extraordinary piece represents approximately 40 hours of actual production time (along with about 16 hours of kiln time) completed over the course of more than a month.

From those first exploratory sketches to the final polish, this commission has taken us through every stage of traditional stained glass creation:

  • Initial concept development and client collaboration
  • Design refinement and pattern making
  • Precise glass selection and cutting
  • Traditional glass painting techniques
  • Kiln firing to permanently bond pigments
  • Lead came assembly with meticulous soldering
  • Final glazing, patina application, and polishing

The result is a one-of-a-kind devotional piece that celebrates the Flying Spaghetti Monster with all the reverence and craftsmanship of classical stained glass traditions.
