Middle-earth - Hobbit Door Original Glass

Each of these handcrafted traditional stained glass art pieces was thoughtfully designed and prototyped at my studio in Asheville, NC. Creating stained glass is a meticulous and time-consuming process and in the past I've only been able to create a limited number of pieces per year. To bring these designs to more fans, I have partnered with a production studio - sharing my original designs, photos and videos of the completed piece, as well as samples of the actual glass that I have used, to ensure that every piece is accurate to the original design.

• Hand-cut and pieced traditional stained glass, constructed using traditional lead came 
  
• Lettering and details are created by silkscreening specialty glass paints, then kiln-firing each piece to 1250 degrees to permanently bind the pigment to the glass
  
• Ready to display with attached hangers and included chain

Part of the magic of stained glass is that each sheet of art glass that is used in the construction of a stained glass panel or window is unique. Even identically colored sheets will have different swirls, movement and texture which we take into account when building each piece. These variations are part of the inherent beauty of the medium as they ensure that each final piece is its own individual work of art, as no two are exactly the same.
