These words mark the turning point of the tale and of Frodo's part in it. From the moment that Gandalf convinced him to leave Bag End, he was acting as a courier - running an errand to deliver the Ring to someone else who would take responsibility.

This moment is when Frodo consciously accepted the full burden of the Ring, even without knowing exactly what that might cost.

Starting from Rivendell in the foreground, we anticipate his journey through the Misty Mountains, Lothlorien, the River Anduin, the Dead Marshes, and to the cracks of Mount Doom in the distance.

  • Roughly 8"x8"
  • Hand-cut and pieced traditional stained glass, constructed using Tiffany copper foil method and traditional lead came
  • Ready to display with attached hangers and included chain

Part of the magic of stained glass is that each sheet of art glass that is used in the construction of a stained glass panel or window is unique. Even identically colored sheets will have different swirls, movement and texture which we take into account when building each piece. These variations are part of the inherent beauty of the medium as they ensure that each final piece is its own individual work of art, as no two are exactly the same.
